mobo help

since the core 2 duo is better than the amds right now. mainly because of the 2x4mb L2cache?

so i decided to go with intel.

im having trouble choosing a motherboard. my budget for a board is around $150 a little over is okay.

o and what would be the best brands of mobos.
i heard asus, gigabyte, msi is good. true?

All of the above are good.

The cache doesn't make the Intel chips faster. AMD doesn't need a lot of cache since it can access memory much faster since the memory controller is onchip instead of on the motherboard.
