Mobo decisions.

he got it for his 790i ultra, as said in first post. but the board is unstable with any thing more than 6gb. and he is giving me the 4gb of ram and a new mobo and cpu for christmas. he could sell it but he is being nice and giving me the $150 ram

Nice! And you already have a nice graphics card, psu, case, and drives. That'll be a mighty improvement.

I also noticed that Asus boards are starting to lose their good reputation as of late.

yes i think i'm going with a e5200 and the gigiabyte mobo as mentioned. or mabye i can talk my dad in to getting a xeon 3110 for me
