this is also a newcomer which is according to most reviews better then the coolermaster v8 and core contact.
Titan TTC-NK85TZ Fenrir CPU Cooler (Socket 754/939/940/AM2/LGA775/LGA1366)
Competitively priced and great performance for overclocking your i7.

how would i go about mounting those? there for a different socket?

same with the titan...the picture from overclockers doesnt have a mount!

would i have to measure up the holes and buy a mount for it? and how would i go about securing the heatsink to the mount?

Thanks guys! sorry for being a n00b again =p this is my first attempt at building a system!

the titan already has a mounting kit for i7 that's why i recommend it for you, works out cheaper and it's rated as the top cooler on some sites at the moment. See in the link up there it says LGA1366^^^, that means it mounts on the socket B or i7 socket.

It'll all be worth it when you receive your package of goodies.

why not just grab a P6T instead and use the saved money towards a good cooler?
It OC's quite well, at least to the limits of almost any air cooler

Unless I missed something and you already have that motherboard
