Default midlevel graphics card

ok, need a new graphics card. not really a strict budget. i want it midlevel, like i want to be able to play everything out with ease, at 1920x1080, but i dont need top of the line. any suggestions?

HD 4870, even though its really considered to be high-end

I guess it'd help a little if you made your price range a little more clear

my budget isnt strict, i just wanted to get some ideas flowing. ill prob get a 260

Why get a normal GTX 260, when the HD 4870 is better and I think cheaper too, at least go for the c216 if anything
