Default micron ram any good?

well i found a 2gb dual channel micron ram kit, pretty cheap, any one know if its any good, or is it just more stuff i should stay away from.
i dont reall know much about ram, but the timings are 4-3-3-6?

EDIT, actuly when ram is sold like 2x1gb, does that mean its dual channel, even if it doesnt say it is?

I've never heard of that company and in my experience it's always best to get a well known brand. By the way those timings are terrible.

Depending on how much money you have, both of those kits work well. By the way, a kit that has two chips the same size will work in dual channel.

hey could you expane the dual channel a bit more, if i get 2 igb sticks and put them in the relevent slots will they work as dual channel, or is dual channel a special type of ram?
