Other guy buying a similar setup Bought the E model instead and it worked out of box.

the E doesnt have the usb 3.0 headers. what would i need to either get that capability or can i rig the 2.0's through the 3.0 on the case?

or is this okay?

Any pre *97 board can have a potential issue. If you're worried about it you could always order the chip and board from NCIX and ask them to flash if it's necessary.
