Hey, I use my computer mainly for Wow, web browsing, aim, email, and itunes. Often, I have all of these running at once. Right now I have:
CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory.
I am getting some lag in wow and lag from itunes. I am thinking of switching to 2gb since I hear it will help performance alot.
I was looking at:
Newegg.com - G.SKILL Value 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit System Memory - Retail
and
Newegg.com - G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail
What is the difference between these two and is it worth the small price difference.
Current PC Stats:
AMD 3400+ 2.4GhZ
Gigabyte K8Triton Motherboard
Corsair 2x512mb ram
ATI x850xt agp 256mb
Seagate 120gb 7200rpm
Creative Labs X-fi Extreme
Apevia Iceberg 680W ATX 12v PSU
