media and game pc

hi all this is my build so far...i want to extend it to a media pc...the only problem is where do i start??...this is what i would like to do...watch and record live tv...picture has to be clear/HD...contol with a remote

You'll need a HDTV tuner but as of now, none are very good.

Basically the only thing that matters on a home theatre pc is tons of storage and a good capture card. I'm actually turning my old amd machine into an HTPC, but i have to get a router first and i have been entirely too lazy to really care
