you can lower it, but not up it. mine goes from 6-7.5x so the mulit on the q9300 sucks.

Are you looking to buy a q6600? I have one of those too. It is capable of 3.6ghz on air and 4ghz on water

That's pretty good man, though yeah I already have the Q6600... though I'm getting pretty close to dropping the hammer one way or the other, just doing a bit more research... though your offer still stands with 200 for the Rampage? (Assuming nothing else is being added on )

Taking further consideration to that... Does that mean that there is a certain range that the Q6600 can handle? obviously no higher than 9x

Most people run 8x because 7x is just too much strain on the board to handle.
