Max GFX with $750

$750 Build (No case, optical or HDD) - 1680x1050, Vista 32-Bit, CRYSIS

I need help on figuring out what will be the smartest choices for:

Motherboard
RAM
CPU
HSF
PSU
GPU solutions.... Most critical.

This is for my cousin, and he wants to play Crysis and I will OC his system. Thanks for the help.

RAM: 2 sets of 2x1GB Ballistix
PSU: Rosewill RP550
HSF: Arctic Freezer Pro 7

Total is 748 at newegg. If you need to get it 750 with shipping then just change the ram to 2x1Gb of Wintec AMPX which will still max out an overclock on the E4600.

Or trade the E4500 for the E4600

OR get 2x1Gb of Ballistix and then a single 1Gb of stick of it. he will only need 3Gb in vista with crysis and he can easily add another stick later.

drop 2gb of RAM and add an e8400

We're debating jumping up to two 8800GTs. 0_o

2 8800gts or gt's will take up most of your budget i do not recomend doing so unless you have over 1100 to play with.

We were able to sketch out a build for roughly $975 after rebates that would have 2x 8800GT's.

I think he should wait though. He wants it to be worth it in terms of cranking up Crysis. I think it's a longoff dream though.

tell him to get one 8800gts 512mb and mod the game itl run smooth off that that way u can get a better cpu.
