Marvell vs Intell controllers for sata III connections.

Hi all,
Is anyone using a motherboard with the marvell 9182 controller found that it has fixed the performance issues associated with the 9128 controller as opposed to the intell controllers found on the p67 chipset motherboards? Or have there been any problems found? Looking to run an OCZ vertex 3 ssd and was wondering if the marvell 9182 controller will allow it's full potential or are the intell controllers the only ones that will?

The Marvel 6Gb/s controller is just slightly slower than the Intel 6Gb/s controller.

Thanks Slaymate, I was hoping they had improved the extra mile and caught up somewhat atleast, the earlier 9128 marvel was crap from every review I had seen, thanks for your help.
