M2NPV-VM support SATAII ???

just wondering if my motherboard supports SATA II i read my manual but it doesn't mention about SATA II , planning to get a HD SATA II but dont want to end up returning it :\

EDIT: This is what it says in the manual:

" These connectors are for Serial ATA signal cables for Serial ATA 3.0GB/s hard disk and optical disk drives. The serial ATA 3.0GB/s backward compatible with Serial ATA 1.5GB/s specification.
The current Serial ATA I interface allows up to 150MB/s data transfer rate while Serial ATA II allows up to 300MB/s data transfer rate, faster than the standard parallel ATA with 133MB/s (Ultra DMA 133)"

Yes it does, SATA 3gb/s is SATAII, but its just that SATAII covers more than SATA 3gb/s in the specifications.

The correct term is SATA 3.0 but SATA II is the exact same thing so yep it will work.
