Lower Latencies or higher Speed?

Pretty soon i will be building a conroe rig and i'm having trouble on deciding on DDR2 ram as i am new to it. For gaming which is better:

2gb of ram with 4-4-4-12 latencies and 667mhz speed

OR

2gb of ram with 5-5-5-12 latencies and 800mhz speed

Keep in mind i will not be overclocking. The 1st ram mentioned is made by OCZ and the 2nd by Geil. I'd link if i could, but it's a flash website.

you can get 2gb of 800mhz with 4-4-4-12 aswell for around same price maybe 20-30$ more.

if you wont be overclocking then 667mhz will do the job for you though.

get 800 Mhz, and try to find the one with the lowest latencies.
