About the same as the X2. The Opteron has 1Mib of cache, but only has one core so the system processes use a little bit of CPU time where it could have gone on the X2's second core. I assume you will overclock both, in which case the Opteron will be more likley to clock high so would overtake there. I would still go for a dual core.
