Default Low Budget PC of the Month

Decided to make a list of high power low cost parts, probably not perfect but it's a good place to start for a medium/low budget pc
here goes:

Case + Power Supply: $100 Antec LifeStyle SONATA II + 450Watt SmartPower 2.0

Motherboard: $136 MSI K9N SLI Platinum Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard

Processor: $123 AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Orleans 2000MHz HT 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM2 Processor

Memory: $170 G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM Unbuffered DDR2 800

$500 more spread around on spending on parts, you can get like double the performance

like i said, it's a starting point for mid-low budget PCs, $1200 is about the max most people want to spend on a casual pc.

Not very helpful that was...

The only thing that stands out to me is the monitor. I have never heard of that company.

I will reccomend a nice mouse mat though to go with the mouse. I have a DKT pad that runs smoothly with that mouse.

$1200 is quite a lot ...why are complaning about a 'low budget'

neither have i but it has good price, good reviews and good specs,
so no reason not too
3 year warranty doesn't hurt either

there's a 19" lcd on newegg for 149.99... get that one.. its got good reviews as well.

btw- you're spending more on your mobo than you're processor.
