Looking for new Vid Card. Help???

dont worry about crysis framrates... it is unbelievably bad at CF... i actually lose a few frames when i enable CF... just play crysis with 1 GPU... just about anything else will at least utilise some of the second card... if you really wanna see CF/SLi fly, get FEAR and test it with 1 then 2 cards... you'll see the framerate almost double!

It's not just Crysis, I was playing BF2 lastnight at the highest res possible 1680x1050 with AA off and was only getting 80 - 100 fps, this doesn't sound right to me...

I know I don't see any difference above 60 fps but just knowing that I should be getting a ton more frames is driving me nuts.

I don't mind keeping the two ati cards as long as they are performing as they should with crossfire.

Does anyone have any experience or input as to why my crossfire performance is lacking???

Maybe its the cpu, kinda random guess. But that tomshardware benchmark i linked b4 was using a i7 920.
