Default Looking for a new build.. First timer so need advice.

Hey guys,I'm new here, and new to the gaming pc building scene too.I'm looking for a build, hopefully a few of you could help me, that can run BF3 on highest, 1920 x 1080 etc. I've been looking around and i've been thinking of getting a Radeon 6950 or GTX 560ti but i'm not sure what brand to buy.My budget is around 600-650 which is about $1000, and if you could use UK sites for links that would be wonderful Also, use http://pcpartpicker.com/uk/ if you can, i've used it before and like the layout and price calculation as well as it uses stores I can easily purchase parts from. Thanks,

Is the 600-650 budget just for the hardware?
Do you already have an OS, monitor, and keyboard/mouse?

651.83 w/o monitor, mouse, keyboard, OS:
System Build - PCPartPicker United Kingdom

If you need wiggle room to buy an OS you'll probably want to look at an AMD CPU/MB.

That's a really well-rounded set-up, thank you. I might actually buy all of those without making any tweaks

Overclockers.co.uk is another good site to price check at.

The only thing you might want to tweak is the case, as theyre more personal.

+1

I just put the NZXT Source 210 Elite in there since I think its a great case for the money.
Currently using the 210 (non-elite) myself and have been very pleased so far.
