Looking for a look over of my new gaming computer build

This will be the first computer I have built. I have done alot of research and feel comfortable putting it together, but I'd like someone who knows a thing or 2 more about computers to take a look at my build and give me any feedback or advice you have.

I'm also curious if the Lanboy Air with 13 of the 15 120" fans will be enough to cool it or do i need to buy a CPU cooler on top of those fans.

1) Unless you are doing some hardcore overclocking, buying that many extra fans is not going to be much benefit other than making the case really loud.
2) Get a Samsung Spinpoint F3 or Western Digital Caviar Black, the "green" or "blue" drives are primarily for storage, not for regular access.
3) Go for an i5 2500k CPU, $40 cheaper and more performance than the i7 950.
3a) Need a new motherboard to go with the i5 2500k, and new RAM to go with the new motherboard.
4) If its a computer focused on gaming, and what looks like a pretty good budget, you can do much better than the GTX 560.

If my math is right your total is $1,390.

For ~$120 more you can get a more optimized gaming build with an SSD and GTX 580.
Also has the ability to overclock quite nicely.
$220 Intel i5 2500k.
$160 Asus P8P67 Pro (REV 3.1).
$130 Silverstone 750w, 80+ Silver, Modular.
$495 MSI GTX 580 Twin Frozr II/OC.
$170 120 GB OCZ Solid 3.
$59 750GB Western Digital Caviar Black.
$55 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws X 1600 CAS9.
$20 Sony Optiarc 24x DVD/CD Burner.

Total = $1,509 (before rebates/shipping/combo deals)

Case is obviously personal preference, just been looking for an excuse to link that one.
For the price it is arguably the best case available feature wise and, in my opinion, for looks.

Nice Job Roark... but to add to what you said, if you take out the SSD it'll be about the same price as what you already priced out and be much MUCH better... personally, i would never consider the lanboy air... its just a horrible case in my oppinion... i like this mother board better, its the same price but has better features, and will compliment your 2500K processor better:

personally, i dont build any computers with anything but a corsair power supplies, i would get this instead, shaves $10 off

if you still want a SSD, you can cut the price down by getting a smaller one, 60-80 gigs is plenty for an OS and a few games

as far as a case, NZXT just released their new Source 210 Elite case, for under $50, it offers features that compete with cases that are 3 and 4 times more expensive, i will be using it for my next build. its offered in white and black, both are very sharp looking, very minnimalistic and performance oriented.

and of course, with your new super oober processor you are going to need a cooler to push that baby for all shes worth, my current favorite coolers are these 2

Sean, that Corsair is $20 cheaper. I'll certainly agree that Corsair is an awesome brand, but personally willing to pay a $20 premium for 80+ Silver and modular cabling from another reliable manufacturer. If you want the same features from Corsair its $20 more than the Silverstone.

Also, curious as to the better features on the MSI board (not being snarky, legit want to know), from what I can tell:
MSI: +1 PCIe x1 and +2 USB 2.0 on the rear I/O.
Asus: +1 PCIe 2.0, +1 PS/2, +4 on-board USB 2.0, on-board bluetooth, and LAN by Intel.

The MSI board has better cooling, Vcheck points, OC gene, onboard power and reset buttons, can suppport up to 6 usb 3.0 slots, you can charge things from the USB slot when the computer is off, it has MSI's Military class II components, MSIs Bios is better than Asus's...

i realize the silverstone is a better powersupply, i was just giving him some options....
