yes it can, but that's only the older 8800gts (g80) not g92. a 9600gso is faster than a 4670 and a 8800gts (g80)

the 9800gt will play crysis on high and it's only about 130. if that's too much then you should get a 9600gso.

Newegg.com - MSI N9800GT 512OC GeForce 9800 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

ati cards dont do very well in crysis. the 9800gt is your best bet.

My 9800 gt handles crysis fine if only my CPU didn't bottle neck it, also sitck with the e7300 it's the same price as the e7200 with a faster stock Core clock, I will say the 9600 GSO is something I don't much hear of but the 4830 is a very good Bang For Buck AND I've heard 2 4830's in xFire are comparable if not faster than the $400 GTX 280 of course that'd be a different build altogether, but the 4850 is the way to go for single GPU BUT if Crysis is your thing then the 9800GT is a safe bet

2 4830's in crossfire is in no way faster than a gtx280. they are only comparable to a gtx 260.

I'm a nVidia guy two but there is speculation, of course not in Crysis but they do come close i quite a few benches, well maybe not at stock speeds but the factory OC'd and other OC'd editions really have the bang for buck factor anyways I'm not here to hijack the thread

Ati cards work fine in Crysis Radeon HD 4830 review HIS technology

PowerColor HD 4830 Review Ľ Page 7 - Testing: Crysis - Overclockers Club

4830 is very comparable to a 9800gt in most games and their both great but the 4830 is normally a bit cheaper. And a 4850 is a good bit faster in most games.

I'm not sure which is the best of each but here are some cheaper ones

4830 Newegg.com - HIS Hightech H483FN512P Radeon HD 4830 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards $110 - $20mir

4850 Newegg.com - ASUS EAH4850 TOP/HTDI/512M Radeon HD 4850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards $150 - $30mir
