not really, i've used both, and there are many differences, 1 being the great comfort the mx 1000 provides. anywayz. i gues sill go with the g5 i can get it for $50.

do you need the wireless if not g5. if you do try t get the g7 which is basically the wireless version of the g5

It was the last of it's kind, before all these alien/"ergonomic" P.O.S. mice came to be.

If you use spacebar as jump, you are not a pro gamer.
