LCD 12ms....

is a 12 MS LCD 17 inch monitor good enough??..... and all i do is game and im in a tight budget with my money..
i play games like cs 1.6
Guild wars
World of Warcraft =)
i will probably get more games in the future but whats the big difference betweena 8 ms and a 12ms?

If you don't have a big budget, get a nice CRT instead of a mediocre LCD.

I have never seen ghosting ever.

12 ms is perfectly fine, and guess what if you buy whatever moniter your looking at, and you experience ghosting then you can call me a lier, But I will bet my life that you won't.

hah yea i dont want a crt anyways it hurts my eyes i want something that woudl put less damage to my eyes sicne there bad enough.. LOL might just go with a 12

I still dont know what ghosting is in a LCD?? I have never had any errors with my 8ms 19

8ms is pretty good for a lcd monitor so dont have to worry about it doubt u would seee it

Save up a little more for the 8ms LCD. I have play CS 1.6 on both an 8ms lcd and a 12ms lcd and I do notice a difference. I don't think the price difference is that much anyways.

I can see ghosting on a 12ms LCD. Very off putting when trying to shoot someone who is going across your screen.

In the end, it depends on the model you are going for.

I have a 8ms viewsonic, never had nor noticed ghosting.
