If he gets Q6600 now then he don't need to upgrade to Yorkfield

He can skip Yorkfield and get Nehalem which is supposed to come out on late 2008

yet another reason to ditch the P5N-E

I want sli because i want more gaming performance and higher resolutions, i dont think its a waste. And i know that with stock cooling a q6600 on a p5n-e sli can go up to 3.3ghz, that isnt that bad.

1600x1400 i think. But im wondering if on crysis if was all very high, 4x AA, xp dx10 tweak, and at 1240x1024 with 1 8800gt, would it be much of a improvement to do the same settings but with 2 8800gt's? Because im hearing it wont, but i think it would perform a bit better.

And i know those settings would run at a unplayable fps, so dont bother saying.
