also, how long is the eVGA step up thing? wondering if i would still be able to upgrade when the 9000 models come out.

I would recommend the eVGA just because my 8800 is from them and there customer service is amazing. You have 90 days on the step-up program, but there is a way around that if you really want to use it after the 90 days. Everything else looks good. Personally, I am not a fan of the looks of the 900 but that is more of a personal opinion, I'm sure its a great case.
