I thought you would as a designer. I was thinking for quite a while about getting it but I found my mystic case and haven't looked back
your cpu will be better for cad as games don't use multi-threading yet so cad will utilise the four cores more effectively. The motherboard is because Is because it is designed for extremely high performance so I thought it would again be more suited for the quadro, the ram and the cpu. The p5b is a good board for overclocking as it is hence why I chose it for your gaming rig some other good boards are:
asus p5n series
gigabyte ds3
the abit AW9D-max (this is my personal favourite)

have been for ages, im more into software programing, its what i know more about, but i built my first comp about 2 or 3 years ago lol, here were its specs...
case: god knows but its some massive thing
mb: asus p5rd1
cpu: p4 3.4ghz 2mb l2 cache
ram: 1gb
gpu: geforce 7300 gs

lol wasnt my greatest build but it did the job
i haev loads, but i got oblivion on pc and my ps33 and 360 lol, but i sold my 360 cos its no were near as good as ps3 from every perspective.
recently i bought stalker and spiderman3, good games
