Default Keeping the 8800 Series Cool

I have heard that the 8800 GT, GTS, and GTX runs really hot i am planning on getting a 8800 GTS graphics card (Newegg.com - EVGA 640-P2-N829-A1 GeForce 8800GTS SSC 640MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail) but i need suggestions on ways to keep it cool,

ok for one you do not buy a 8800gts anymore, they arent worth it, the 8800gt outperforms it and is cheaper, if you cant find one of those get a 3870.

You donj't buy a GTS until the next revision enters the market (next week right?) and my GTS doesn't run that hot considering you're not supposed to go past 85; OC'd I'm around 71 with my fan setting at 81% instead of the default 60%

A definite yes on the 8800GT, if you can find a place that has stock of it. And they generally are pretty good with the stock cooler, thanks to it's 65nm process. As long as you have adequate air flow inside your case, you're fine. A side intake, if your case supports, is a good idea.

For what it is worth, my GTS runs at 49c-51c normally, 60-63c gaming, 69c-75c OC'd above stock OC'ing and gaming. Fan between 60-100% depending whether it is OC'd or not.
