Default Just scratched my new 22" Widescreen monitor screen!! help!

I was moving to a new apartment and wrapped my monitor in a blanket. I set it up at the new pad and for some reason (I have NO idea) there is a 4" scratch RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN!!! Its an LCD Monitor. How can I fix this? It is a Sceptre 22" WG Gamer

Thanks in advance
Joe

just apply some liquid plasting on top of it and let it cool off then i think it will be ok. just like those scratches on a cd.

I need to see that to believe it. If you do try this, please post some pics of how it turns out.

Scratch CDs can be repaired and backed up with toothpaste. This is actually proven to be a temporary solution.

I've heard boiling disc for a little bit, works. Like 20-30 seconds. I don't think it's enough to melt it.
