Question Just quick question

Just wanted to know for a mate if the AMD Opteron 146 is dual core and what speed its at from the box. thats all

2GHz stock, its single core, and it has 1MB L2 Cache, not so great.

ok thanks. its for my mate, hes building a 2nd pc for when mates go round and play over lan. his budget is around 450 pounds (not euros or anything else) wants an amd skt 939 cpu, 1 gig ram, mobo, gfx card, got case and psu. anyone got any ideas? Thanks

Corsair XMS or G.Skill Value Ram, MSI K8N Neo, some cheap *** case. and a Antec TruePower II 450/ or 480 watt not sure which it is. or look for good reviews on a known brand os PSUs. If he wants one thats single core the AMD 64 3700+ is a great one. and a 6800GT or the 7600GT.
