Default Just got the 146!!!

okay i just got my opteron 146... and i'm uuber excited!! although i won't be able to use it for another 2 weeks.... i guess i'm just wondering if its alright if i put it in my build right now... but.. i don't have thermal paste, it came in the box, so its not oem.... and i heard they come with thermal paste already applied?? so i guess i'm just wondering if its alright to put it in already

The heatsink it comes with has a thermal pad you can use. What is the stepping?
