Default Just bought the Gigabyte 790G motherboard but....

As I was trying to unlock the door with the keys, i dropped the motherboard (packed in the case and in a plastic bag) on the ground. the distance could have been 2 or 3 feet, i am guessing.

Anyhow the motherboard's still in the static bag, packed. I just took it out to see if there were any pins crooked or any caps loose but couldnt tell a thing coz they all looked ok.

do you guys think, i killed my new mobo before even firing her up?

Only one way to see, you have to try it. If all works then great, if not then simply RMA it and claim that it was dead on arrival or defective. They have no way of knowing you dropped it unless you say so.

Yea, just see if it works, and if it doesn't just RMA it, they won't be able to tell that you dropped it ;]

That board is pretty nice, I got my Biostar because it was on super sale, haha. Serves me well though.

Let us know how it goes.
