Jumpers... are there more than one?

So there is one for a DVD drive if it is IDE... but do have to worry about jumpers for any other device???

Oh, and I changed my DVD to a SATA!! lol. edit bah

not quite... if u put ur PC on sleep often, u need to adjust the jumpers on ur mobo so it can wake up, also if u wanna reset ur BIOS if it doesn't post
 
actually i think sata hd's use jumpers too, cuz i saw the western Digital 750GB Hard Drive (WD7500AAKS) on newegg, and it had those 8 pins for jumpers, maybe they are for when there are EIDE drives in there with the Sata ones? sry about the confusion
 
some of the new SATA's have them so you can change from SATA I, to SATA II...some are defaulted to I, while some are defaulted to II, make sure you find out which...my WD"s were defaulted to II, but my seagate storage drive was I, and i didn't know i had to change it till like 5 days after i got it
