If he's overclocking, he would need an aftermarket HSF. Like the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro.

and thats... what i was missing... thanks man... also i'll add this Tuniq Tower since i mentioned the Quad-Core:

Newegg.com - Tuniq Tower 120 P4 & K8 CPU Cooler - Retail

if you get the q6600 then you have to get that if your overclocking to heavy extremes

Why e6550 when e6750 is 5 dollars cheaper? The price on that thing fluctuates way too much, last week it was like 215.

I'd also suggest getting the case from zipzoomfly.com, because it's free shipping.

I was going to suggest clubit.com because one week ago, it was 70 dolllars but its 90 with 10 dollar shipping .

Maroon1's build with the Corsair 520 PSU from zipzoomfly would rock. As for OS why bother goign through all this if you aren't even going to run Vista for DX10 so I'd suggest Vista Home Premium 32bit. Half the awe-factor from these new games is coming from DX10 so it's a waste to build an entire PC for one game and not get it ^^ just my 2 cents

i would change the hard drive to this
Newegg.com - Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3320620AS (Perpendicular Recording Technology) 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM
otherwise the build looks great
