*grumbles* just when I was getting used to the idea of an oct core processor running with a couple ultra high-end cards in the future grrrr.

that's rich!
but, whatever. if it means i am going to be able to get another 8800gts for 150 bucks or less when i actually buy a processor (which will be an AMD if this goes through cos i aint usin ati cards) that won't bottleneck two of them, i'm all for it.
