why do the q9300 and the q9400 have 6mb cache, thats less than the q6600 and q6700 and qx6850 and qx6700 which are older gen Quad-Cores...

I knew it'd perform better, it'd have to or it'd be just plain stupid to release them, I just wanted more cache

The q9300 is also 100mhz faster at stock speeds than the q6600. But it only has a 7.5x multi, so good luck getting it to 3.6ghz without killing your FSB.
