Default Intel Pentium EE's

Will these prices ever go down, i've known many friends fooled by this high price and disappointed when it barely competes with an X2 3800+, with the Q2 coming on the 22nd will the prices of these useless Pentium EE's (single and dual core) ever find their way to the real places where they belong, in the sub $100 dollar section instead of their low 1000$
