I've been reading for a while now that Intel wanted to start using the LDT technology after seeing AMDs success, I don't know if or when that will be though. I do remember them believing it was doomed to fail since an entire architecture revision had to be made to switch things like memory interface
I worked in the industry for 3 years + now and have been have been dabbleing for 8+ years. I have 1.5 years of computer voice networking classes in college, a half a year computer program application development, and now im in my first year of computer technical support specialist.
I read alot about hardware, cause thats where my interest is, and some software.
I try to back up statements i make about claims, etc... im not always right, and i dont always stay on topic, but my biggest pet peeve is people that talk such a big talk when they are talkin about how many pipelines their video card has, and why its so much better than everyone elses, but they are running 65mb of edo ram ////
yeah, if anything its fun to argue/discuss hardware on tech forums, as long as there is other people that know somewhat real facts and not just internet hearsay. Ya Dig!?
