the mobo is low-end-ish... looks like it doesn't support DDR2 800 PC6400 ram.. it says DDR2 667. also, it doesn't look like it supports RAID (only a problem if you plan on using raid..)

but overall, no significant flaws in your build.. it looks pretty solid. the powersupply seems a bit overpriced.. you can probably get similar performance for a good $20 cheaper. and as for video card... it doesn't look too bad.. but i would look elsewhere...

I'll look for a slightly better graphics card, right now everything including shipping is around $906. not too shabby for me wanting a small space saver of a computer. I really want to stick with nVIDIA if at all possible because it seems to run LINUX distros better. I appreciate your input thus far, making this my current favorite tech forum.

aliasaid: I actually don't plan on using a RAID array since I have heard it can be unstable sometimes and also because I wouldn't have a clue on how to setup one and use it to effeciency

I am looking at the nVIDIA 7600 gt, and it is a little under my expectations for built in memory, however it looks like a **** good card. thanks for the advice, I am switching over to that.
