Installing new mobo tonight. Question about the slave HDD..

I have 3 HDD. 1 for Vista, 1 for XP and 1 as a slave. I use my slave HDD to install all my games on and some apps too. Will I need to reinstall any of the games or will they run fine? What about the apps? Like Fraps and VirtualDub?

Are you reinstalling the OSes? If so, some games might need to be reinstalled due to registry keys.

Yes I have to reinstall the OS since it's a new mobo. Someone here said that I have to reinstall Vista but I can do a repair for XP but the guy that does all this installing stuff for me states that is not possible. So since he is doing it I'm assuming both OS will be reinstalled. Unless of course someone here can be certain I can just run the repair for XP??

I'm just the guy in the middle who knows next to nothing. LOL

Just remember to install xp before vista. And depending on how different the boards are, you might be able to get away with booting into safemode on both partitions and just installing the new chipset drivers. What board are you going from and to?
