installing memory help, noob question

hey, i've got a question about installing memory onto my motherboard. my question is can i put the 2 sticks of memory beside each other? or do i put one stick in the first slot and skip the second slot and put other stick into the third slot?

Put them in the Dual Channel Slots for more performance, consult the 750i FTW manual to see which ones are the Dual Channel slots (same color or same sides) most of the time its same Colors (which are different sides)
