Default Installing Dual Monitor Setup

What exactly, in terms of hardware/vid. card, is needed to run a dual monitor setup?

A video card that supports dual monitor, and a faster than slow computer. I've done dual monitor with 633mhz before, so most computers made in the last two years can probably hack it, hardware wise.
