Hey. So I don't make a habit of installing all the drivers for my hardware. I have the latest vid card drivers, but other than that nothing really.
I have a Sound Blaster Live! Value, but I didn't install any of the programs or drivers that come with it. Should I? The way I figured it makes sound without the drivers installed and I don't have another thing on my startup list so eh.
I was just wondering to myself though if I should. Maybe my card can do alot more if it had the drivers and software installed. I have a pretty good set of speakers. Just I'm under the impression to get good sound I have to tinker with the EAX and such and finetune it. Not that it's just preset I install the drivers and BOOM, sounds better. Please let me know if anyone has experience with this or what I should do.
