installatn required 256M but system indicates 254M

a software installation required 256M but system indicates 254M, so is it advisable to change the Ram?

Or are they any other ways?

are you talking about hdd space or system memory. i would assume you mean memory. any way, you should be fine. you must have 256mb of memory it's just 2mb is shared with your graphics card.
