Unhappy initial boot up problem please help

when we hit the power button everything comes on for one second and then shuts down what could be happening

power supply is bad or your processor is overheting but that quicly I would say bad psu. Most computer stores will test them for you

could having my ram in the rong slots do that or having your led positive and ground messed up would that do that

other things they (the smart ones here) suggest is putting in only the bare mim you need to run then add one componenent at a time. hope that helps it stinks have a comp but not having it work
