Total - $1046.69 BEFORE Shipping ($1202.68 After Shipping)

I am over $202.68…I wish I could cough up more but I cant…

I live in alaska and it’s the Case that is costing SO much to ship here…it alone adds $80 of shipping…I need help tweaking my computer...I want to lower the price but not lose ANY performance or very little.

Here are some things I was thinking of:

PSU is 109.99 Maybe there is a PSU out there that is cheaper but still VERY good.
4GB is only 84.99 while good 2GB is 65$...idk about this one…
32 bit and 64 bit are the same price = \

I just don’t know what to do, please help.

Any tweaks/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If you're not planning to overclock, get a different motherboard.

You need 64 bit windows to be able to detect all 4gb of ram.

Anyway for you to get a case locally?

if ur using vista keep ur 4gb of ram. u could probably save about 30 on the psu and maybe get this - XCLIO GREATPOWER X14S4P3 500W ATX12V Power Supply 100 - 240V/ 200 - 240V UL, CUL, TUV, CB, VDE, FIMKO, DEMKO, NEMKO, SEMKO - Power Supplies
and maybe another 30 on the mobo if u get a ip35 - Open Box: ABIT IP35 Pro LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard

everything else seems like good choices. good build. you would have to downgrade to get 140 more of the price.
the only other thing is the case but u will be paying about the same price for another good case unless u go really cheap.

He already has 64-bit windows Vista chosen. As far as other price changes, I would go along the same lines as these guys and get a cheaper video card, maybe the Antec 900 to save a few extra.

And - CORSAIR CMPSU-550VX 550W ATX12V V2.2 Power Supply 90 - 264 V UL, CUL, CE, CB, FCC Class B, TUV, CCC, C-tick - Power Supplies

The antec 900 is about as good as the tempest, and it has free shipping right now.
