Well im going to be using it for things like gaming music movies homework and such. I dont think im going to be doing any overclocking and im only going to use one video card. So SLI is not neccessary but all the new boards seem to have only 2 slots for video cards not one.

So SLI is not neccessary but all the new boards seem to have only 2 slots for video cards not one.
The DFI Lanparty Ultra-D has two PCI-E slots but dosent run SLI. If you want SLI in teh future you can mod it IF you want. It dosent do anything to performance at all.
