I would reccommend getting a different psu because that 300w seems a little low...maybe get a Antec psu...diff mobo for sure, try msi k8n neo4-f, different hard drive, like western digital, and if you are using it for gaming then i would reccomend getting a pci-e card like a 6800gt or 7800gt from evga. I dont really know much about tv tuners so i cant help u there, other than that it seems like a pretty nice rig

This computer what be kind of outdated once you build it.
I don't know your budget but I suggest this:

CPU- AMD64 X2 3800- $322
Mobo- eVGA sli mobo (free with 7800GT from MonarchComputer)
Ram- Corsair Value 2GB (1GBx2)- $166
Hard Drive- WD 250GB SATA II- $105
Video Card- eVGA 7800 GT- $360 from MonarchComputer
Sound Card- Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic- $112
Power Supply- Antec TruePower II 550W- $100
Case- Rosewill TU-155- $55

Total- $1220
not including the extras you need like tv card, cooling, etc

That whole system is dirt, the video card isnt going to work as it is AGP and the motherboard is PCI-E.

Case
I don't know much about that case but if you like it and it supports ATX it doesn't matter too much as most cases are the same. Make sure it has decent airflow.

PSU
That PSU is junk, 300W maximum! thats not even going to be able to supply that system with enough power.
Get a PSU from one of the following brands: OCZ, Antec, Fortron, Enermax, Hiper, Seasonic or PCP&C. Also make sure it has at least 450W continuous power and a 24pin connector.

Motherboard
ECS aren't known for perticually good motherboards. I would recommend a DFI Lanparty Ultra-D or a MSI K8N Neo4-F.

CPU
That CPU is a good one but I would get the 3700+ or if you are willing to spend a little more cash get a X2 3800+

RAM
That RAM is no good, get 1Gb value series from OCZ, G.skill, Corsair or Geil.

HD
Theres nothing wrong with the HD you picked but Seagate and Western Digital are better known for reliability so i would recommend one of them.

Video Card
If you are going to be gaming get either a Geforce 6800GS or 7800Gt

Don't get a sound card unless you're really bothered about slightly better sound quality

what about this setup, i just saw it on ebay for 2 and a half thousand !!!!!! OMG ! so i think ill buy all the bits individually and build it myself.....

The link doesn't work but from what I can see of what you posted, that system is a rip off. How can they say a 2.8GHz CPU is the equivellent of 5.7GHz??!!
