Default If you were to buy a new graphics card what would you buy?

If you were to buy a new graphics card what would you buy? I want to spend less than $300 if possible. I would like it to be quiet if possible and I think that 256mb is what I need to get. I need this for video editing and running some intense 3D transitions for it. PCI-E Suggestions. Thanks.

Probably the 6800GS AGP (when it comes out). But I'm too broke to buy one

If I were going to get a new video card I would get a 7800GTX 512mb or an X1800XT, but I have to force myself to wait for the G80/R580 so I will be able to run UT2007 smoothly.

6800GS if you want to save money, its like $209.

7800GT is you want to spend exactly $300 (its $270 after mail-in rebate). Its also a lot better than the 6800GS, though there is nothing to complain about the 6800GS either.
