Default Ideas on this monitor?

Newegg.com - ViewSonic VX2835WM 28" 3ms(GTG) HDMI W/ HDCP Widescreen LCD Monitor 500 cd/m2 800:1 Built in Speakers - Retail

What are your opinions on the monitor? Also will the 7900gs be sufficient to run things smoothly with the high resolution?

That combo wouldn't be good for gaming, but it would be awesome for movies.

The response time is good, but the 800:1 contrast ratio is lacking.

no probably not...if you want to play highend games
if you can afford it you should get an 8800gts 640mb or a gtx
or an x1900xt 512mb

It will be hard to find a monitor that big with a good contrast ratio without spending a ridiculous amount of money. What will you be using it for?
