You would forget to touch your case? You have to in order to put your computer together. Plus, the chance of you actually producing a big enough electrostatic charge and transmitting it to one of your components is very small. I have worked on computers for over 2 years now and have never once had a problem. I say save your money.

Okay i trust you. I will also be doing it in my room on the floor (painted concrete). So the static possibility in my room is really small correct? Thankyou for saving me 10 buck when you include shipping.

Ya I wouldn't worry one bit in that room. I made the mistake of buying that strap and I've used it once I think. I go into my computer quite frequently to do one thing or another and have never had a problem.
