Then read what is posted below, yes if I am not mistaken it should do that, when I used adobe dreameaver cs4 before my mobo died last week it did something similair to what your asking.

About sony vegas you would have to talk somebody else who does that stuff...

I used vegas studios back in 2005 on a dual core AM2+ it used both cores at 90% when rendering. It would use both cores when adding effects. Basically I would assume it will use as many cores are available (I loved that program back in my FFXI days)

In the process of building again ..... my old build will still run circles around people but those 3870 HD's just aint cutting it anymore

Will the GeForce GTX 460 run premiere pro well? I don't really want (or need) a GTX 470.
