Default i7 heatsink

I just want to be sure, but if I want to buy an s1283 cpu fan for an i7 build, I have to also buy this bracket right?

It's about 27F outside right now...but there is a kerosene heater about 5 feet in front of my computer so i'm sure that's effecting it a bit. And i'm sure my voltage could be dropped some. At stock it was stable with 1.01 but i was lazy and put it at 1.1 when i OC'd

so u mean to tell me that your i7 idles at 40C, and loads at 50C?

also, you have the old version of realtemp, the new one reads it more accurately
